We're taking the Dowdy Studio Wagon to the 3rd Annual Homegrown Music and Arts Fest this Saturday, May 26th and we thought we'd help you pair up some tasty tee selections with a few of the bands that will be blasting awesome from the stages.

We also want to know which Dowdy tee you'd pair with yoru fave band. Leave us a comment down below to let us know. Cheeeeeers! - Dylan + Pamela

Ume gives you what your ears are hungry for - solid upbeat sound with awesome natural vocals that make that rock'n noise that makes you want to dance and sing all over.

Music is my Weapon
The Bright Light Social Hour mixes folk, blues and indie in a bowl of awesome and knows how to pour on the jam. With all those musical weapons, this band can save the world.

Hayes Carl serves up a delicious amount of folk that'll make you grab that jug of whiskey and scream FOLK YEAH!

Super Ride
Listening to Mystery Skulls not only makes our mouth water, but makes us feel like we have enough power and energy to ride the Super Ride

What we're looking forward to this weekend!

We'll be joining the line up of the Deep Ellum's Big Folkin Festival. Not as musicians, since it's been a long long time since either of us have successfully picked up an instrument, but as artists in our mobile shop, the Dowdy Studio Wagon. We're working on some new tanks and a couple new designs we hope to show off for the first time at the Folkin Fest. So come on over to the Prophet Bar this Saturday and shop the Wagon, then stay a while and see some folk'n great bands.

We love giveaways, so why not do one involving one of the biggest music events of the year!! SXSW happens every March in Austin and it draws bazillions of people down to the capital city of Texas to kick it with their favorite bands, musicians, and artists.

This contest is pretty simple, and we hope you have fun entering. Feel free to enter as many times as you want, just be sure to snap a pic of you wearing your Dowdy tee and tag Dowdy Studio on facebook on all your entries, this is the only way we'll see them.

For an added bonus, let us know what bands, musicians, street preformances etc. you saw while wearing your Dowdy tee.

We'll pick a winner Monday, March 19th, and award that lucky fan with a free tee of their choice! We'll even ship it to you if you don't live nearby. This contest is open to all residents of anywhere. So get you're Dowdy ON!!!
